19 May – 24 May 2014
Bright Lights, Big Cities is an exhibition celebrating the ever-evolving urban landscape through a collection of sounds and visions from both sides of the Channel.
Featuring the work of artists of both French and English origin, this sensory experience captures the very essence of ‘the city’ using a diverse range of photography, visual projections, soundscapes and film screenings.
Taking place in the Old Rope Gallery in Antwerp Mansion, the exhibition is open from Monday 19th May to Saturday 24th May and is available to the general public for Free between 12pm and 7pm, with the exception of the Monday 19th May, which is open for an extended period to host a welcoming party.
For the final evening of the event, Bright Lights, Big Cities invite everyone to celebrate with them at a ticketed closing party, hosted by the Manchester music collective Love Dose in the Gig Room and Fam* in the Ballroom of Antwerp Mansion from 10pm until 4am. Tickets for these events will be available for purchase on Facebook and Skiddle.
