From 29 January to 1st February 2015, the 42nd International Comics Festival will be held in Angoulême! To celebrate this occasion, the AF Ciné-Club will present for its 1st cycle of films 3 movies adapted from graphic novels… From the 9th art to the 7th art.

Alexandre Taillard de Worms is tall and impressive, a man with style and attractive to women. He also happens to be the French Minister of Foreign Affairs. With his silver locks and his tanned, athletic body, he is everywhere, from the United Nations in New York to the hostile climate of Oubanga. There he calls upon the powerful to calm the trigger-happy and maintains his potential Nobel Peace Prize winner status. Enter the young Arthur Vlaminck, who is hired to write the minister’s speeches but also realises that he has to learn to deal with the susceptivity of the boss and his entourage…
