Saturday 1/03/14: Manchester pendant la Grande Guerre
2014 marks the beginning of a series of centenaries marking the ‘war to end all wars’. This tour visits poignant sites around the city centre dedicated to their bravery. We hear the story of the Manchester Pals, and how the war changed the role of women.
Kate Dibble is the Manager of the Manchester Tours and Guides Services, a company established in 2006, she is also fluent in French. Kate has been a ‘Blue Badge’ tour guide in Manchester and the North-West for 25 years, so there’s nothing about Manchester that she does not know!
