In Conversation with Screenwriter Agnès de Sacy

Prominent French screenwriter and director Agnès de Sacy joins Manchester Metropolitan University’s Isabelle Vanderschelden for an informal discussion on screenwriting in France and the unique nature of her work.
In particular de Sacy will discuss her collaboration with well-known directors, including Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, with whom she wrote three films, It’s Easier for a Camel… (Il est plus facile pour un chameau – 2003), Actrices (2007) and A Castle in Italy (Un Château en Italie – 2013).
The discussion will be in English and the event will be followed by a special screening of Bruni Tedeschi’s latest film, A Castle in Italy, with an introduction by de Sacy.
