Feature: Singing in French

Singing has huge benefits for language learning – it helps with nerves, is great for pronunciation and intonation, helps with vocab and is a wonderful insight into French culture and society.
In our singing group we will be trying everything from traditional music, to pop and soul – maybe you could suggest your favourite tunes for us to have a go at?  So why not give it a try?  Once again, you do not need to be able to sing, just want to have fun and use your French.
Our next meeting will take place on Tuesday 4th December from 1 till 2 so just come along to room A214 (Samuel Alexander building) or email Catherine Franc for more details (c.franc@manchester.ac.uk).
We will be singing “Quelqu’un m’a dit” by Carla Bruni.
