Feature: Singing in French

University of Manchester Students

Singing has huge benefits for language learning – it helps with nerves, is great for pronunciation and intonation, helps with vocab and is a wonderful insight into French culture and society.

In our singing group we will be trying everything from traditional music, to pop and soul – maybe you could suggest your favourite tunes for us to have a go at?

So why not give it a try?  Once again, you do not need to be able to sing, just want to have fun and use your French.

Our next (and last meeting this semester) meeting will take place on Tuesday 11th December from 1 till 2. So just come along to room A202 (Samuel Alexander building) or email Catherine Franc for more details (c.franc@manchester.ac.uk).

We will be singing Christmas songs.
