Do you sing like a pan or like a nightingale (most excellent French expression!) It really doesn’t matter!
Singing has huge benefits for language learning – it helps with nerves, is great for pronunciation and intonation, helps with vocab and is a wonderful insight into French culture and society.
In our singing group we will be trying everything from traditional music, to pop and soul – maybe you could suggest your favourite tunes for us to have a go at?
So why not give it a try? Once again, you do not need to be able to sing, just want to have fun and use your French.
Our meetings will take place as follows:
Tuesdays 1 – 2pm in weeks 5, 8, 10 and 12 – University Place 3.213
Wednesdays 3 – 4 pm in weeks 7, 9 and 11 – Samuel Alexander A215
So just come along or email Catherine Franc for more details (c.franc@manchester.ac.uk).
