Last Friday 21st November, the Alliance Française kindly invited students studying French at the University of Manchester to a private screening of ‘Le Fils de l’Autre’- a film about two young men, one Israeli and one Palestinian, who discover that they were accidentally switched at birth. We followed this, into the evening, with a discussion about our thoughts on the film, on which we were all in agreement was quite moving, over some tasty wine and cheese. Overall it was a great turnout for the evening and we endeavour to fortify this link with the Alliance, who we hope will be willing to host plenty more events of the sort!
